Online system for residency permit applications

The Ministry of the Interior has announced that the online system for applying for residency permits will be operational from 11th June 2020.
Anyone whose residency permit has expired and who has been unable to renew this due to the Corona Virus restrictions must apply online using the new system between 11th June 2020 and 11th July 2020.

Applicants must apply online on the Ministry’s website: http://icisleri.gov.ct.tr/ by selecting the residency permit portal in the online services section.
After filling in the online application registration, applicants will receive an SMS containing their username and password.
For security reasons, applicants will be required to change this password at the first log in.
Applicants must select the correct application type and fill in all information accurately and completely
Applicants must upload their passports and the letter from the Muhtar confirming their place of residence
After completing the application process, applicants will receive an appointment to go to their local police station with the documents requested on the system to complete the process
Applicants must be present in person with the required documents at the relevant police station on the appointed date at the appointed time
After receiving approval from the police applicants will pay the fees for the medical check and health insurance online using the system
Applicants will then be referred to a hospital or laboratory in their area for the medical checks
Applicants over 60 will only have to pay the health insurance fees
After the immigration office has received the medical check and upon confirmation that all criteria have been met, applicants must pay the residency permit fee online using the system
