Experience: Naomi was called to TRNC Bar in 2005 after working with a prestigious offshore trusts company based in Liechtenstein and then working with a large law firm in Kyrenia. Naomi set up Naomi Mehmet & Partners in 2005 with the aim of providing the TRNC with its first truly professional international law firm and to use her skills and experience to offer clients in the TRNC a first class legal service. Naomi specialises in Property and Real Estate and is a leading Property Lawyer in North Cyprus. Naomi advises both individual clients and large corporations and investors. Naomi also has extensive experience in Commercial Law and provides commercial consultancy services to a number of companies on all commercial transactions, including the drafting of and advising on all commercial Contracts.

Experience: Sila completed her practical training in Istanbul and was called to the Istanbul Bar where she is still a registered member. Sila was called to the TRNC bar in 2006 after working for a period of two years with a well-known law firm in Istanbul and returning to the TRNC and working with a local firm in Kyrenia. Sila joined Naomi Mehmet & Partners in 2008 to head our Litigation and Dispute Resolutions Department. Sila has successfully handled a large number of high-profile litigation cases on behalf of the Kyrenia Municipality and other well-known TRNC companies. Sila is particularly noted for her success rate in property related disputes and vehicle recovery cases and in appeal proceedings in the High Court.
Christopher Maher LL.B. (Hons)

Practice areas: Property and Conveyancing, including residential and commercial conveyancing, residential and commercial leases, Wills and Probate.
Experience: Christopher joined the firm as a full-time member of staff in 2010 after gaining work experience with Naomi Mehmet & Partners whilst at university. Christopher has extensive experience of all aspects of residential and commercial property and has assisted countless purchasers and sellers in the successful completion of their transactions, including off-plan purchases, re-sale purchases and properties on long-term Government leases. Christopher has built up a reputation as a leading expert in conveyancing matters and is able to advise potential purchasers on a range of potential issues, including boundary issues and rights of way. Christopher is highly skilled in the drafting of Sale and Purchase Contracts, Tenancy Agreements and other conveyancing Contracts. Christopher is also highly experienced in Will writing and is able provide detail advice on complex aspects of estate planning.

Experience: Tüle completed an internship with the firm in 2010 and 2011 and joined the team in 2012 to commence her training programme. Tüle was called to the TRNC bar in 2013. Tüle is considered an expert in contentious and non-contentious probate applications and is able to provide detailed advice on both simple, straightforward estates and complex, high-value and disputed estates. Tüle has also assisted numerous clients with their applications to the Immovable Property Commission (IPC).
