Naomi Mehmet & Partners is the only law firm in North Cyprus to have a bespoke legal services software system, which has been tailored to meet our needs and which is provided by a company accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales to provide software to the legal profession. This innovative software, allows us to provide our clients with the most efficient service possible using the most advanced technology, including online case tracking, and ensures that our law firm is fully compliant with the Law Society's Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Our current and previous clients have included a wide range of local TRNC companies and overseas and international corporations, together with public bodies. Some of our most notable work includes the following:
- Providing ongoing consultancy services to one of the largest real estate developers and construction companies in North Cyprus, including drafting all Contracts of Sale, Tenancy Agreements, Agency Agreements and other Contracts between the company and third-party contractors and/or suppliers, advising on and representing the company in disputes with customers and other parties and advising on employment issues.
- Providing ongoing consultancy and litigation services to the Kyrenia Municipality (Girne Belediyesi) including providing legal opinions on various matters within the jurisdiction of the Municipality and representing the Municipality in claims brought by and against the Municipality.
- Providing ongoing consultancy and litigation services to one of the largest 5 star hotels in Kyrenia, including representing the hotel in all cases opened by and against the hotel and providing the hotel with legal advice on all matters relating to its operations.
- Advising a Turkey based Franchisee of numerous international fast food chains on their operations within North Cyprus.
- Advising an overseas coffee-shop Franchisor on Franchise Agreements with local TRNC Franchisees.
- Advising overseas Finance Companies and Insurance Companies on the recovery of vehicles unlawfully brought into the TRNC.
